Everywhere in the country the weather is just crazy! I live in California, and while our weather has been warm, in the 80’s to be more exact it’s just been extremely dry. Your skin gets dry, but nothing looks worse then having dry lips. I am finding at night that’s when I notice it the most. Dry, cracked lips are NOT a good look when leaving home. So I always make sure that I am armed with some of my favorite lip balms and glosses.

While these tasty lip treats are amazing, keeping your lips nourished is just as important as keeping your skin nourished. Most of us get facials, which I LOVE by the way, but there are some treatments for your lips that you can do to keep them soft, supple and ready for any lipgloss or balm. Your lips are exposed more and keeping them soft is not only a beauty must, but lip facials are a must, get that dead skin off of them because your lip balms and glosses will not absorb when you have a layer of dead skin. Here are some tips that you can do at home, whether you purchase a lip scrub or make your own.
Making your own lip scrub
3 tsp Olive/Coconut/Jojoba oil
2 tsp of Honey
2 tsp of Brown/White sugar
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl and gently rub the sugar mixture on your lips, leave on for 2 mins and rinse with warm water, pat lips dry and apply your balm or gloss of choice. Do this once a week and even in the most driest or coldest of weather, your lips will always be kissable. Fresh has an amazing sugar lip scrub as well.
Whatever your daily ritual for your lips, always keep them healthy, supple and most important..KISSABLE!!! Mwah!
